Only 3% Have It by Bob Proctor

There is a word in our vocabulary that has to be the most abused and misunderstood word in the English language. This word is used to describe what most people want and spend their lives looking for. It is available to everyone with very little effort and costs nothing. Neither your age nor station in life are determining factors, yet only about three percent of us ever find it.

A few people have it but don’t know they do, consequently they are not able to enjoy it. I found it myself close to forty years ago after searching for it for years. It literally changed my life.

Books are written about this elusive word, they top best-seller lists worldwide. Audio, videocassettes, and CD’s seminars and gadgets have created a multi-billion dollar industry surrounding this mystical word. The word is generally associated with people of great wealth. However, there are many wealthy people who have never found it.

You guessed it, the word is SUCCESS. What is success? That is a good question. I have read thousands of definitions but I have yet to find a better one than the definition I received from Earl Nightingale.

Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal. If you know where you are, and you know where you are going, and you are progressively moving your life in the direction of your dream or goal, then you are successful.

Only 3% of the people you are surrounded by have a clearly defined goal written in a definite statement. Most individual’s wander through life dreaming and they go to their graves with their dreams still inside them.

Decide what you want. Write it out and get moving, success will be yours.
